Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, buying SkeeterSwitch hardware, or using this site or the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms are a contract between you and SkeeterSwitch LLC. [VERIFY how updates are accepted — Kevin/counsel.]
The hardware
The SkeeterSwitch bundle (the ARCTIC MKS trap and the smart plug) is a one-time purchase. Once you buy it, you own the hardware — it keeps working even if you cancel the subscription. [VERIFY return window, shipping terms, and title/risk-of-loss — Kevin/counsel.]
Smart service subscription
Smart service (automatic scheduling, tank-switching, alerts, and the app dashboard) is an optional, recurring subscription. It is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime; the trap still operates in manual mode after you cancel. Acceptable use
- Use the service only for its intended purpose and in line with the law.
- Don't tamper with, reverse-engineer, resell, or disrupt the service or its security.
- Operate the CO₂ trap and tanks safely and per the hardware instructions.
- Keep your account credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
What the product does and doesn't promise
SkeeterSwitch reduces the local population of host-seeking mosquitoes while the trap is running. It is not a guarantee of a mosquito-free yard, it does not prevent mosquito-borne disease, and its effectiveness varies with weather, species, and conditions. See the science for the honest limits.
Warranty
